Attention all Picture Book Writers! For the first time ever, there is a Twitter Pitch Event Exclusively for Picture Books. I have loved participating in all those twitter pitch events, but it always felt like the PB pitches get swallowed up by all the other genres.
Well this even is different and we are hoping that both writers and agents will enjoy it.
How is it different? Well besides the fact that it's only for PBs, we are limited writers to only two pitches PER manuscript (once in the AM and once in the PM.) This way agents won't be overwhelmed with with scrolling through a bazillion pitches and seeing the same pitches over an over.
So when an agent visits he or she will only search #PBPITCH and they will be able to see all the different PB Pitches posted.
So far we invited as many PB agents as we could find on twitter. And we've had a number of PB agents express interest in the event or say they were looking forward to it.
Get your PB Pitches ready for June 24th!
