Prompt #7. Astro the Chimpanzee gives a tour of the Apollo 8 space shuttle. What kind of mayhem might happen?

His mother, his father, his sisters and brothers, his uncles and aunts, all his cousins, his whole family, every chimpanzee and human on the whole planet, were very very proud of Astro the Chimpanzee. He was in all the papers, he was on TouTube, he was on the 6 o'clock News, he was even on the Late Night With Conan O'Rumpus Show. Astro was a hero. He was a United States Chimp Astronaut.

There was just one problem. All the astronauts and their families were invited to tour the Apollo 8 Space shuttle. Not one chimpanzee other that Astro himself, was allowed to set foot inside the capsule. Not even for the quickest little peek. "That didn't seem fair," Astro mused scratching his cheek, " It certainly didn't seem right."
"Why, it was down right impolite! He said out loud and startling himself.

"After everything I've done. After everything I've given to Space flight!"
"Those in greats, those mooches!"
He worked the same long hard hours as all the other astronauts. Taking tests, being poked and prodded and then tested again, not to mention all the hard physical training.

Right then and there Astro decided to do something about this sorry state of affairs.
"I'm going to throw a little party. Invite everybody over for a tour of the shuttle. Yes! That's what I'll do! Those ungrateful ..."
His voice trailed off as he paced his cage planning how to finagle the Keepers keys at dinner and how to sneak out to meet and greet his family and friends and get them back to the ship for a tour.

Every hair on his body stood erect. "I haven't been this excited since the day I was chosen out of hundreds, thousands of Chimpanzee candidates!"

Asto throws a lavish party which very soon gets out of hand when everyone decides to bring him a big bushel of Bon Voyage Bananas. And when word gets around social media's Triller and Fakebook, everyone but everyone shows up, even a rock band, six Russian Cosma-Dogs, the 'Nosey News' Press and a large group of Japanese tourists!

Astro finally gets everyone to go home but not before a terrific trail by fire. He is sorry for being so thoughtless especially when he sees the front page headlines in the papers the next day: Extra! Extra! Astro, the Astradog Was Astro Naughty!

Revision: The ending should read, "Astro Naughty Chimp Astronaut!"
