In the old days, board books were either re-configured existing picture books or created in house. These days, like everything, this is changing with some incredibly exciting and fascinating books being created for babies and toddlers. In this mini course, you'll learn what board books are, who is publishing them, what kinds of language to use, some of the many topics that are of interest to this age group, and how to illustrate them.

While it's not a full on interactive writing course or a full on illustration course like our flagship interactive
Craft and Business of Writing Children's Picture Books course or the equally comprehensive Craft and Business of Illustrating Children's Books course, you will learn lots about this delightful and adorable niche market and how to access it.
