Your Fearless Leaders![]() Jed Alexander has an extensive history in editorial illustration doing work for publications like LA Weekly and The Sacramento News and Review, as well as children’s publishing in venues like Nickelodeon Magazine, and Cricket Magazine as an author and illustrator. He is currently represented by Abigail Samoun at Red Fox Literary.
In 2013 Jed’s successful Kickstarter campaign for (Mostly) Wordless was chosen by Kickstarter as Project of the Day, featured as a project example on their iPhone app, and was listed by Kickspy as one of the most backed children’s book projects in Kickstarter history to the point that he was able to add lots of additional features with the additional money raised. Jed also received rave reviews for the book which was then picked up and distributed by a small traditional publisher. ![]() Dr. Mira Reisberg has helped MANY authors and illustrators get published. She has also worked as a literary agent and witnessed how difficult it can be for new people to get a foot in the door and how more and more people are turning to self-publishing, but few are doing it well. She and Jed teamed up to create this course to show others how to successfully fund, self-publish, market and distribute their work.
Mira holds a PhD in Education and Cultural Studies with a focus on children's literature. She is also an award-winning children's book illustrator and writer. This fully interactive 4 week course involves live video lectures, question and answer sessions, webinars, small critique groups, interviews, an ongoing forum and a wealth of resources and how-to's! ![]() Click here to register for this innovative LIVE, interactive presentation. |
