You'll receive the same loving, high quality instruction and care as you get in our other interactive courses, but in a shorter amount of time! This camp is different because you start with an idea (or not), or an existing manuscript and learn the steps you need to know to make your manuscript shine so brightly that agents and editors will want to sign your book. By the end of this course you'll have one or two stories that you can proudly submit! You'll work with strong critique partners and receive full critiques of your work. You'll also receive pitch and bio critiques from Dr. Mira and either an agent or an editor that will make them sing, PLUS submission opportunities with your co-teachers!

Do you have a PB manuscript that has potential but isn’t quite working? Get out your comfiest PJs, your favorite slippers, and get ready to revise in a CBA course that’s well worth your time." -Betsy Devany
"Picture Book Slipper Camp gives you a close 1:1 feel with editor and agent feedback. It's been such a great help getting such direct, helpful critiques on my work and the class is small enough that you don't feel lost in the crowd. So worth it!"
- Sarah Gowayed
"Let me start by saying: “I love the name Slipper Camp.” The name of the class, and the instructor Mira, motivated me to join. Mira and her co-instructors are awesome. Very pleasant and caring. I love the fact that we get to break out in groups and critique each other’s manuscript. This helps to take you on your pathway to editing your script. You also get a personal critique from Mira and the co-instructors, who are actual Editors and Agents. The course concludes with you resubmitting your edited Bio, Pitch and Manuscript. Then comes the Golden Ticket. If you are chosen, you get a chance to pitch your finished Manuscript to an Editor or an Agent. Yeah! Happy Writing!" - Dainty Nix
"PB Slipper Camp was a wonderful experience! Having 2 Online Retreat Days was invaluable experience that helped me grow exponentially as a writer. Mira spends a lot of time with each manuscript and provides direct, helpful feedback to help you improve your work to be the best it can be and more marketable. This is truly a wonderful community." - Jenna Johnson
