Bri's informal and lighthearted approach is a great way to get started with one's own hand-lettering. I really enjoyed her emphasis on having fun.
- Darcy Merritt, Creator This course is a great starting point for anyone wanting to learn more about hand lettering. Bri breaks everything down explaining how the tools work and showing them in action. Her pointers and tricks break down the process and make it much easier to understand!
- Stacey Maney, Mother and Art Teacher Loved this course, especially since I'm a southpaw, so traditional Palmer method penmanship was not my thing as a kid. (Especially when nuns were hitting the lefties with rulers!) Now I have a lot of creative ideas to try out, since I am in the midst of designing my children's picture book cover. Thanks!
- Rita Goldner, Author Illustrator at Rita Goldner Books This mini course came in very handy now that I am following a course in illustrating for kids. I was doodling yesterday while I waited for the lathe to finish it's cycle and I came out with a great sketch for my title for Jurassic Rat. Will be posting it on the members FB page.
- Eleanor A Peterson, Painter, Author, Illustrator I really enjoyed this class, Bri! I have been struggling with hand lettering the cover for one of my books, but feel more confident after learning more about proper materials and technique as well as your helpful tips. It was fun watching you make these beautiful letters with such ease.
