Oh dear, I forgot to post last week. Usually I just post a teaching video review with a description but today I want to share a little about what I've been up to. Like most folks in the US, I had Thanksgiving last week, but unlike most folks I got to have 3!! It was super sweet. I wrote about this here https://www.facebook.com/MiraReisbergPictureBooksAndArt if you are interested and while you're there if you are up for it, please like my page : ) I've been teaching a really talented bunch of people in the Craft and Business of Writing Children's Picture Books, which has been a blast. We are also hopefully buying a house (not a done deal yet and a truly torturous process) and the fabulous news - I've been super busy creating an extraordinary self-paced online course with Marsha Diane Arnold, which launches on the 1st. Wahoo!!! What an epic amount of work that has been. We are both super proud and happy with what we've created and have an introductory price here if you'd like to sign up soon and get it for only 79.00. It comes with a whole year's access, a PDF of course content and at the end of the 4 full sessions you'll have access to our own ongoing private Facebook group : ) Here's the link to find out more and purchase at this super low price. Meanwhile, I had this video review about a wonderful little book called Splash that offers one solution for dealing with the big topic of having the blahs or depression in the sweetest and most accessible way. It is a small book, so minimal and so effective in both it's sparse onomatopoeia language and watercolor the art. Maria Van Lieshout has created a fantastic example of how to do a lot with a little. It's a great example of big things coming in small packages and how to get a lot of story into a little text. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do despite the icky expression frozen on my Youtube video intro : ) 3/3/2024 07:30:26 am
I recently purchased a modular home from this service website, and I am incredibly impressed with the quality and affordability of their offerings. 3/27/2024 11:42:00 pm
