Focusing on one word throughout the year to help you make choices and decisions takes a different approach than setting unrealistic or unreachable goals.
It brings a healthier approach to living your life differently versus trying to live a different life. I love this idea, but I can't choose just one word. However, my three words are all sort of related: Play. (Because I want to spend every moment I have actually playing with my 19 month old on his level.) Focus. (Because I realize I need to prioritize in order to get things done.) And Know Why. (Because I can't do it all so I need to keep a narrow focus on priorities and know why I'm doing it all... For what purpose.) So instead of making a resolution that you may or may not end up keeping, what one word (or three words) would you choose for this upcoming year?

I love this Mandy (and Lori). My one word would be Create because it encompasses my desire to create joy through the three most important things in my life, my teaching, my own creative work, and spending time with friends, family, and loved ones. Thank you for this.

I think for me it would be trust. Stepping out to do new things that I've never done before requires trusting those who have the skills to help me along this journey.

If you've ever had any experience with social media, then you know that it is all about the Likes. And that's fine as a person, and everything. But like most things in this world, it's really not about the likes at all. The same can be said for One Word. Comments are closed.
