When my husband and I first fell in love, many years ago, he said, "Mira, I just can't work as hard as you do." And he was right. I seem to have this phenomenal capacity for work. But embarking my new career while still teaching a few more courses (with a good boundary between my teaching and agenting) until Hummingbird Literary becomes more sustainable, I've realized that I need to let go of some things and these video reviews are one of them. :( I will miss them as I've loved doing them but making and editing and then uploading them is a lot of work and very time consuming. Sigh. I will however stop back here every now and then and post things but it will be much more random. Meanwhile come on over and join our Facebook group here if you like .
I do feel sad letting go of this. Funny hey!
I'm off tomorrow to teach K-12 teachers in a remote area near Mt. Shasta. Kid lit, art, and the Common Core Standards across the curriculum. We'll be making mandalas (math) planetary portraits and biographies (science) cut paper environmental murals (math) and sock puppets (listening, speaking, reading and writing) among a bunch of other projects related to kid's books. Should be lots of fun and lots of work!! Will let you know here or on our FB page how it goes :) TTFN
