Meg has a pea in her nose. Mother grabs Stuffy the bear who also happens to have a pea snuck in his nose and gives the bear to Meg. She tells Meg that Stuffy is scared so Meg needs to be brave. It’s her job to keep Stuffy calm. At the hospital the doctor examines Stuffy first to show Meg what’s going to happen. Mother tells Meg that Stuffy wants to be brave for her now. Meg holds on to Stuffy and closes her eyes. The doctor successfully removes the pea snot and all. Ewww! 10/6/2012 02:19:14 pm
(My niece did this when she was little, but it was a raisin (not a pea) and it swelled up to the size of a small grape!)

As I recall, the way the story goes
Meg and Stuffy both have peas stuck in their noses! With Mom's help, Meg learns to be brave as Stuffy faces the doctor first. Holding onto Stuffy tight, Meg closes her eyes as the doctor works his magic. Pea-free noses all around—phew! 3/12/2024 08:44:34 pm
